You can probably start to tell we are huge Mexican food fans in our house. I came across a fajita crockpot meal that I wanted to try but it called for a packet of fajita seasoning mix. After some searching I found a homemade recipe. The recipe worked out great however, I only got about 2 meals out of it. I’m the kind of person that I prefer to make recipes in bulk and use them multiple times. It seems to be a better use of my time. If you want to see the original smaller recipe, click here. If you want to make the bulk recipe see below.
1/4 cup chili powder
1/8 cup sugar
1/8 cup + 1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 cup + 1/2 tsp paprika
1.5 TBSP garlic powder
1.5 TBSP cumin
1.5 TBSP salt
1/2 TBSP ground cayenne pepper or creole seasoning (if you use creole seasoning decrease salt amount to 1 TBSP).
Add seasoning to a jar. Shake and seal tight.
2 1/2 -3 TBSP = 1 store bought seasoning packet.
